A single-herb liquid extract of dried root of Drynaria fortunei, cold-macerated in small batches and offered either as a traditional tincture in organic sugar-cane alcohol or as a vegetable glycerite.

About the plant

Gu sui bu is a fern that grows on other things — the trunks and branches of trees and on rock faces in southern China — and it has two entirely different kinds of leaf. Short brown papery ones clasp flat against the bark and catch falling litter, building the plant its own compost heap; long green fronds rise from the same rhizome to do the photosynthesis. The creeping rhizome itself is thickly covered in golden-brown scales, so that it looks and feels like it is furred.

No added sugar. Contains no artificial colours, preservatives or fragrances.

Suggested use

Shake well before use. Take 20–30 drops (about 1 ml, one full squeeze of the dropper bulb) in 2 oz of water or juice, up to 4 times daily, or as directed by a qualified healthcare practitioner.
